Stephan Hill

Stephan Hill grew up in Germany’s motor city Wolfsburg. He went to music school and learned to play the flute at the age of 8.
In that time he started to collect music on tapes. A few years later, when he was 11 years old, he was asked to make some tapes for parties of his parents and their friends. During puberty Stephan got socialized by Rap-Music, which is called Hip-Hop nowadays. It was the first type of music he really felt from the heart and so he began to make Hip-Hop-Tapes and got props for them on the schoolyard. Yeah! 
His first contact with electronic dance music was at the Brain-Club in Braunschweig in 1996. There he started to dance and didn’t stop till now. Stephan moved to Berlin and began to collect techno-records in 1999. 2 years later, he played his first DJ-set at the Künstliche-BEATmung in Berlin-Friedrichshain and started to organize parties together with some friends in Berlin, Wolfsburg and Braunschweig. In the year 2004 he started to produce music, first by himself, later on with his good friends Koljah and O.Deutschmann (as gowentgone). Together with O.Deutschmann he is the host of monthly club nights at Berlins Golden Gate-Club. The two have also founded the record label vidab, which will have its first release in March 2007. Stephan Hill loves to dance and spends nearly all of his money at Hardwax.
